What is a personality type?  Is this the Myers-Briggs?

Personality type is a set of inborn preferences that uniquely defines the way you use and express your cognitive functions.  These functions, gathering information and making decisions, are core to our everyday lives.  Your type broadly defines how you approach the world and these type preferences are then expressed based on your personal experiences. The theory of personality types was initiated by Carl Jung in the 1920’s and made popular by the mother/daughter team Myers-Briggs when they developed an assessment to identify your personality type.
Our aim is to assist you in the discovery of your own personality type and to help you understand and respect the value of each other type.  The four letters of the Personality Type provide a wealth of information about a person.
